6% of Energy Efficiency

6% Energy Efficiency

Noel over on Unplugged Living brought this site to my attention. It’s called 6% of Energy Efficiency and it’s an informational site focused on educating the population about how to conserve more energy. They’ve got an interested, 6-question quiz to see how much you know about energy conservation. Regretfully I missed two, but I think I read through the questions a little too fast. Excuses, excuses.

Energy efficiency is like an “insurance policy” against roller coaster energy prices.  No matter the price of the energy we use – whether it’s wind, solar, biofuels, nuclear, gasoline, natural gas, electricity, heating oil, propane, or diesel – we can all have greater control over our energy bills and the shape of our world by using it wisely.  All it takes to help us do that is “small steps” — developing energy-efficient habits or using energy-efficient products and technologies.  It’s easy. The power is in our hands.

If you’re interested in trying to make a difference, visit the site. Even if you’re not interested, visit the site and maybe you’ll change your mind.
