Amazon Launches Askville
It seems to me like it’s just a new coat of paint on an old idea. However, Amazon has just come and developed a new site with the same functionality on a new domain called Askville.
Did we need this from Amazon? How does this help their goals and business model?
Anyone have any ideas? Maybe I should just ask that question at Askville.
UPDATE: I asked that question on Askville less than an hour ago and I’ve already gotten three responses. Pretty good traffic and activity for a brand new site and a very non-interesting question.
