And now a guest post from Hilary Evans from Eco Friendly Driver.

At Eco-Friendly Driver, I write mostly on saving gas usage and emissions, but it really doesn’t matter if you’re working to help the environment or your pocketbook. The internet offers great resources for drivers who want to save.

Waste less gas with Traffic.com. Find your best route with info on road work, and anticipated traffic jams in mind.

Pay less with GasBuddy.com. Do an area search and find the lowest priced pumps in your area (volunteers needed).

Reduce your other car-related expenses with Rideshare.org or Carshare.net. Set up ride swaps or find a local community car ownership program.

Save money when purchasing a new car with NADAguides.com. Their current rebates feature helps you find the best prices of the day.
