Has anyone else noticed a significant increase in the amount of obvious spam that’s getting to their Inbox in Gmail?

I’m receiving about 10+ per day, which is 10 more than I normally ever saw actually hit my Inbox.

Anyone else?

yup and it sucks because it gets forwarded to my blackberry!

Where have you used your gmail address?

If you use it sign up for sites, even if they promise “not to share …”, I suspect that’s probably the source.

Doesn’t really bother me, as gmail seems to be smart enough to figure out what put in the ’spam’ folder, and then of course you can always manually mark addresses as spam.

No it’s not that. It’s just a recent onslaught. I’d actually trust Gmail to filter most of the spam I’d get if I started using that address on all the sites I wasn’t so sure about. It seems like a certain pattern of e-mails that keep getting through the blockade though for Gmail.
