New Category - Online Contests

I’ve decided that another missing section of Uncovering the Internet is all the opportunities to win things and participate in a variety of giveaways and contests. I’ll be adding a new category to our sidebar titled “Online Contests” to group these different websites.

I won’t be including these online contests where you have to click through a bazillion websites to earn a free laptop. I’ll try to keep these sites to mainstream sites and manufacturers that are promoting a variety of products and services.

Note: I recommend signing up for an e-mail address at one of the online sites to use for providing your e-mail to these types of contests. That way you can reduce the chance of filling your Inbox with a bunch of newsletters and e-mails and potential spam by providing your e-mail address and getting on some additional mailing lists.

If you have a contest you’ve come across and would like to share, just leave me a comment or send me an e-mail letting me know where to find more details.
