The Musarium - Tell Your Story
I came across the Musarium today while surfing for the phrase “animal crackers” and got this interesting result: Animal Crackers, a story about things not always being what they seem. The Musarium is much more than this little ditty, in fact, it’s a very large site dedicated to basically telling stories…all KINDS of stories. Here’s a few:
- The Fly Truffler: “This is the first in a series of videos about authors and the places where their books are set. After more than thirty years as a photojournalist, John Giannini asks others the same question he has asked himself again and again. Why do people live where they live?”
- The Boys of Bundy Cottage: ” Sharing a common hope to be part of a family, the 13 boys of Bundy Cottage at the Masonic Home for Children in Oxford, N.C. are drawn together by age and a shared sense of abandonment. Life for the boys in this modern ophanage is a constant struggle for the boys. The boys share a common bond of a broken home life and hope together to be part of a new family in their new environment.”
- The LAMPP: “Paul Waldman wants to know what makes photographers tick. With his “Living American Masters Photography Project,” Waldman is documenting photographers as artists and individuals so that “we see them as people, professionals, and not just as the photo credit we associate them with.”
