Well-Designed Sites
You know, I spend a lot of time on the Web since that’s kind of my job, and every once in a while I come across some truly gorgeous, well-designed sites that are an absolute pleasure to look at. Here’s a few that I’ve looked today:
- JohnnyCash.com: From the opening welcome from the Man in Black himself to the old-time record player spinning your tunes, this is a great site.
- BBC News: There are a LOT of news sites out there that are horribly designed. The BBC is not one of them. Lots of information presented in an easily accessible fashion.
- Craigslist: Another site that is so simple it’s perfect. Don’t ever change, Craig.
- Le Louvre: Je t’aime le Louvre. I could spend hours here (and have).
- TrantorTV: A fun site to while away the hours when you really should be cooking the kids dinner…uhhh..not that I would know anything about that.

There’s a big difference between a well-designed site and a pretty one. Sometimes they’re complete polar opposites

Good point Fred. I think the two regularly get confused.
