Yahoo E-mail Contact Problem Rant

by Jason Bean on December 15th, 2007

yahoo-email-error

For the last couple of days now I’ve been getting this error message when I try to send an e-mail in Yahoo! Mail. Is anyone else experiencing this problem? I can understand this error message if I’d typed in the address myself, but I select the person from the auto-complete list that pops-up automatically. I even tried selecting the person using the “To:” button in the interface. Still nothing.

What’s the deal?

The address format that’s in the To: field look like this [ FirstName LastName user@example.com;]

What’s screwing it up? The address is fine in the address book itself.

Sorry, just felt like ranting for a minute.

I got something in my email that concerns me.
How can I forward it to you so you can look into whether it is legitimate or not?

No need to forward it. If it concerns you just delete it. If it’s a legitimate problem you’ll get more messages. You can also do a Google search for the text of the message you’re receiving and see what you find.

The new Yahoo mail is not nearly as good as the old Yahoo Classic. Most of the time my mail wont even come up. I don’t want to go through the hassle of changing providers but I think I’ll have to if this doesn”t change soon.

Need to speak with a representative of Yahoo concerning a disgruntled ex-employee who has access to our email. Tried repeatedly to change our password, to no avail. Please contact.

I don’t not want Yahoo telling my contacts ttrligious emails can’t came into my inbox because of complaints. I have not complained and Ido not want them censoring my mail that Ihave not marked as spam.

I have been trying to cancel my Yahoo mailplus for the past three days. Oddly (?) when I hit CANCEL, the webpage is suddenly totally unavailable…and has been for 3 days. Amazing! How can I get through? is there an e-mail address?

I’ve been frustrated for a number of weeks now about Yahoo not remembering who I am even though I tell the website to remember me for 2 weeks. Apparently though expecting one of the top e-mail providers on the Internet to actually have an e-mail address of their own that you can contact them at is just too much to ask.

Jason! I don’t know if this will help you with your e-mail problem…. but try this phone #:
866-562-7219. They sovled mine. I actually spoke to a real live person! He couldn’t help with an e-mail address for yahoo… sounded surprised and said he would report the problem. Also apologised for the re-curring expired website and incorrect address notices. Said he would report that also. Good luck!
